A Feedback step in the event wizard builds a survey that is sent at a
chosen time to everyone who checked in (or everyone registered), with
personal links and one reminder after 3 days. Answers can be anonymous.
Adds rating (1-5 stars) and multiple-choice field types, also usable on
attendee forms, and a Feedback summary report with response rate,
average ratings, choice breakdowns, comments and event comparison.

Events can allow sponsorships: a "Sponsor a spot" button lets anyone
(guests included) pay through Yoco for whole spots or a custom amount,
anonymously or with a name and message. Payments land as event
donations in a sponsorship pool that supervisors assign with the
existing donation flow. Adds optional public progress towards a goal,
a sponsor receipt and Automations thank-you, pool columns in the
Donations report, and sponsorship labels/filter in Payments.

Supervisors can split an event's named attendees into allocation sets
(rooms, small groups, buses) with capacity, gender and leader per group,
using a drag-and-drop board or auto-allocate (keep bookings together or
split them). Adds printable group and master lists (medical view
audited), the group on tickets and in My Events, messaging by group,
a "My groups" page for leaders, and an optional per-event gender
question for named attendees.

Payers and holders can hand a ticket to someone else before the event.
The new holder gets a new QR code (and an inactive account with an
activation link if they're new); the old code stops working and scans
of it, online or in offline sync, say it was transferred. One place can
be split off a shared group ticket. Transfers can be turned off per
event (supervisors can always transfer from At the door), youth events
need the new holder's own consent, and every transfer is audited.

Staff can lock a section (or the whole event) to their device, download
its tickets and keep scanning with no connection. Scans are queued in
IndexedDB and synced idempotently when back online; conflicts go into a
sync report for supervisors, who can also force-release a lost device.
The server now validates scan sections and refuses scans in a scope
locked to another device. Adds a web app manifest and a service worker
for the scanner page.

Events can take a waitlist for sold-out lines. When places free up
(cancellation, smaller booking, higher stock limit) the next person is
offered them with a claim link and the places are held for a set time;
unclaimed offers expire and move on, with optional partial offers. Stock
is now counted in one place (utils/stock.js), including held places,
and manual registrations and booking edits are now stock-checked. Adds a
supervisor waitlist page, My Events waitlists, and the daily summary count.

Youth events need a name and date of birth for every attendee, and a
parent/guardian's details for under-18s. Parents get an email and
WhatsApp link to a consent page that records the signed name, time, IP,
device and exact consent text; medical and emergency details are stored
encrypted. Tickets are issued but check-in is blocked until consent is
given (supervisor override audited). A daily job sends reminders and
purges medical details after the retention period. Adds a supervisor
consent tracker, consent status and medical list reports, and clears
consent data when an account is anonymised.

Events can take a name (and optional email/phone) for each main-ticket
place. Each named person gets their own quantity-1 ticket and attendee
form; unnamed places share one ticket. Tickets go to the payer or to each
person, attendees matching one existing account are linked to it, and
the payer can edit names and send form links from My Events. Ticket
generation is now planned per line (utils/attendees.js), free
registrations use the same generator, and guest registration matches
accounts by phone too, refusing conflicting email/phone pairs.

Percentage, fixed-amount and comp codes, limited by event, ticket option
or variant, dates, use counts, minimum quantity, and people, roles or an
email domain. The discount is locked in on the registration (mirrored on
Registration.discountTotal so every total sees it), shows on invoices,
receipts, emails and the Yoco checkout, and is released on cancellation.
Use limits are enforced under an advisory lock.
Ticket options and variants can also carry a staff price that Staff and
above get automatically. Adds a Supervisor > Coupon codes page, code
fields on registration, My Events, manual registration, at the door and
the kiosk, a Discounts report, and audit log entries. Also fixes Yoco
line items and the free-registration check for lines spanning several
price tranches.

Admins and supervisors without 2FA are sent a code at their next login,
and verifying it turns 2FA on. They can change the channel but not turn
it off. Older sessions without 2FA are rejected with TWO_FACTOR_REQUIRED,
and promoting a user ends their sessions so they enrol at next login.
The requirement is skipped when no email or WhatsApp channel can deliver
a code, and TWO_FACTOR_REQUIRED_ROLES=false switches it off.

FEATURES.md is a repo-root overview of everything the platform does.
info.md, the overview for prospective churches, is brought up to date
with features added since it was written.

Users can turn on 2FA from Profile & Security and receive a 6-digit
login code by email or WhatsApp, with a "trust this device for 30 days"
option. Admins can reset it for a locked-out user, and the self-service
kiosk handles the code step at setup.

Server-side fetches now fail fast when no API base URL is configured,
and the home and events pages build with an empty list if /api/events
can't be reached during next build.

Run npm audit fix in root, backend and frontend, bump nodemailer to 10,
override shell-quote in the root package, and allow-list the dependency
install scripts npm was blocking.

The ics library's url validator requires a scheme (https://...), but
production's FRONTEND_URL/APP_BASE_URL was configured without one, so
createEvent() rejected every request before generating a .ics file.

Registrations can be cancelled two ways: DELETE /:id (owner or admin,
already logged registration_cancelled) and PUT /:id (staff+, status
change endpoint) — the latter was silently unlogged. Since PUT /:id
is staff-only, any transition into 'cancelled' there is inherently a
staff-initiated cancellation, so it's now logged the same way.
Audited all six categories promised in the 1.10.0 changelog entry
(refunds, donation assign/unassign, manual registrations,
staff-initiated cancellations, event create/update/delete, settings
changes) against their actual logAdminAction call sites and route
wiring — this was the only other gap found.

createEvent never called logAdminAction, even though 1.10.0 already
listed event_created as a filterable action on the audit-log page —
only updateEvent/deleteEvent actually logged. Event creation is now
logged the same way, at every return path including the legacy
pre-migration retry branches.
Also adds a "Back to dashboard" link to Admin -> Audit log, matching
the existing back-link pattern on the Cashup page.

express, cors, and @prisma/client were required at the top of
backend/src/index.js before Sentry.init() ran, so Sentry's
auto-instrumentation (which patches those modules via a require hook)
missed them — startup logged "[Sentry] express is not instrumented".
Sentry.init() now runs immediately after dotenv.config(), before any
of the libraries it instruments are required.

Path traversal (CWE-22/CWE-73): event-image, branding (logo/favicon),
and event-attachment uploads built the saved filename from the
client-supplied original filename with no sanitization, and multer's
diskStorage joins that straight into the destination path. A crafted
filename containing `../` sequences could write the uploaded file
anywhere the server process has write access — reachable by any
supervisor-level account, and briefly pre-auth via the branding
uploads during initial /setup. Filenames are now always server-
generated (random bytes + validated extension); the original name is
kept only as display metadata.
Dependencies: express-rate-limit was declared only at the repo root
despite being required directly by backend/src/index.js, so a plain
`cd backend && npm install` (per the deployment doc) would never
install it — moved it into backend/package.json. Bumped next off a
version affected by a critical unauthenticated RCE (React Flight
protocol) and switched it from an exact pin to a caret range so future
patches install automatically. Bumped multer/nodemailer/jsonwebtoken/
uuid to patched versions, with an override forcing the vulnerable
nested uuid inside exceljs and the vulnerable postcss bundled inside
next to the patched versions too. `npm audit` is now clean (0
vulnerabilities) across root, backend, and frontend.
Hardening: jwt.verify() now pins algorithms: ['HS256'] instead of
trusting the token header; /uploads now serves with a restrictive CSP
and X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff so an uploaded SVG containing
<script> can't execute if opened directly.
Verified: backend's Jest suite passes, the backend boots and serves
real requests on the bumped deps, and `next build` compiles/type-
checks cleanly on the bumped frontend deps.

Six site improvements picked from a "what could be better" review, plus a Jest
test suite covering the two areas with the trickiest money-handling history
in this project (early-bird pricing tranches, donation-leg accounting):
- "Add to calendar" .ics download on event pages and in confirmation emails
- sitemap.xml, robots.txt, and Open Graph/Twitter metadata for public pages
- Sentry error monitoring (backend + frontend), a no-op until SENTRY_DSN is set
- Nightly local pg_dump backups with a Site Settings tab to browse/trigger/download
- Admin audit trail for refunds, donations, manual registrations, event and
settings changes, and staff-initiated cancellations
- Jest tests reproducing and guarding against the 1.8.0 tranche-pricing bug
and the 1.4.2 donation-balance-inflation bug
Wallet passes (Google/Apple) were scoped out of this round — Apple Wallet
needs a paid Apple Developer account the project doesn't have yet, and the
user preferred shipping both together later rather than Google alone now.
